How do I Render an ASP.Net app on a Pocket PC 2003 IPaq PDA without actually buying the PDA? I want the app to be browsable by either a PC or a PDA, but I want to see how the PDA version will render the page without actually having to go out and buy a PDA.Thursday, December 18, 2003 7:57 PM

check out http://developer.openwave.com i have a sharp gx20 that uses the openwave browser, its pretty good and theres a plugin for VS if you go to http://developer.openwave.com/dvl/tools_and_sdk/partner_tools/ so you can view pages straight from the phone browser emulatorFriday, December 19, 2003 10:43 AM -

After reviewing the OpenWave url, it seems that all there browser apps are geared towards phones, not PDAs. If I am mistaken or have missed something obvlious, please correct me. And thanks for the initial info.Saturday, December 20, 2003 5:18 PM -

There is an emulator for the Pocket PC available for download as part of the SDK. It's a pretty big download but will allow you to see how pages will look on a Pocket PC without buying one.Friday, December 26, 2003 6:03 PM -

Thanks a ton. Will this emulator also recognize the new Whidbey controls???? If not, when and/or where will one be available? Thanks again.Friday, December 26, 2003 9:09 PM -

The emulator never sees the server controls. It only sees the rendered output, so new and custom controls and adapters should work fine with it.Monday, December 29, 2003 5:17 PM -
