Error while connecting to SAP server throught Add adapter reference service RRS feed

  • Hi All,

    I got following error while connecting to SAP through Add adapter reference service in Visual Studio 2008

    I also check the message server entry in Service file.

    Whether duplicate entry of the same server cause any problem?

    Connecting to the LOB system has failed.
    Details: ErrorCode=RFC_OK. ErrorGroup=RFC_ERROR_COMMUNICATION. SapErrorMessage=Connect to message server failed

  • Looks more like a server configuration issue.
    Make sure that you have an entry in the services file in the following format:
    <Msgservername> <port>/tcp

    It is good to remove any duplicate entries. Your Sap basis should be able to help you with this

  • I check and verify for the duplicate entries and removed, but still the same error,

    Does it related to my installation of WCF LOB adapter or Biztalk adapter or rfcsdk installation?

  • As I have already mentioned this looks more like a server issue. I dont think this has anything to do with the adapter or Rfc sdk installation.

    can you make sure that the connection details provided in the uri is correct?

    Connection detail I used it provided by the SAP basis and I had twice checked with them and using the correct detail in uri.

    But I will try again with the basis

    Now im able to connect to SAP using Application server, still not able to connect through the messaging server of load balancing
