Mstest - error publishing test result RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi.

    I'm trying to set up a build using Team build 2010. After all tests have run mstest tries to publish the test results to the TFS server. When mstest tries to publish the result I get an error message that I don't understand.

    Publishing results of test run VH@PARTNER23 2010-08-31 14:44:02_Any CPU_Debug to http://tfs.domain.int:8080/tfs/TestProject...
    ....................The start date 31.08.2010 12:46:28 cannot occur after the end date 31.08.2010 12:46:28.
    Publish failed or canceled.

    Handle MSTest Exception
     TF270015: 'MSTest.exe' returned an unexpected exit code. Expected '0'; actual '1'.

    All good ideas are appreciated.

    Kai

  • Hi.

    I just figured out that one of our unit tests actually changes the computers clock :(

    When I looked at the trx file in an text editor I saw this:

    startTime="2010-08-31T13:48:13.4416726+02:00"

    endTime="2010-08-31T13:48:13.0039064+02:00"

    Best regards,

    Kai

  • Hi Kai,

    Sorry that I can not find the root cause from the error message.

    When you queue the build, =>Parameters=>Basic=>Logging Verbosity, could you set the value to Diagnostic, so that we can get more error message in the log.

    Best regards,
