Expression Web 4 isn't showing Configuration Options RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

perhaps you could help us with the following Issue. First some more Informations regarding the Problems we are having here. After Installing the Expression Web 3 Version we have had the rollout of Expression Web 4 (upgrade), and it was looking like everything was working fine. Wasn't?

We have opend a Webpage for showing of some Movies, as a part of the Website. Adding the Movies has been done without any Problems, but all of the Movies where started automatically at the same time if the Website has been displayed. Thats in fact what we don't want. We prefer to list the Movies and offer the service to choose and start a Movie manually by Customer (Surfer).

I guess there is a way to do it like we wish, as I read in MSDN, but there are still some Options for Configuring it missed here.

What is going on here? Hope we can fix that issue soon, because the website has to be online immediatly. So, is here any Guy reading who can help us? Thank you for spending your time. :-)

    Best regards

    Andreas

Answers

  • In design view, Right click the player and select ActiveX control Properties.
Unceck the Autostart box and click Apply and then OK.
You will have to do this for each movie.
