  • What programming code are you using for this? This is a forum for programming questions, not general product use questions.

If your question is about how to use the Autocorrect function then I suggest checking Word's Help function or posting a question about it on: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/office/forum/word

  • Are you talking about the Ribbon UI editBox control? Where is it located?

  • Hi Rich,

I am using VBA/Macro to write program.

I want to know if it's possible to have autocomplete function in MS Word textbox using VBA/Macro so that when we start typing it gives us related results from the pre-defined list.

    Thanks

  • Hi BV,

    Try this code:

        If AutoCorrect.Entries(YourACName).RichText = True Then
            Selection.TypeText AutoCorrect.Entries(YourACName).Name
            Selection.Collapse Word.WdCollapseDirection.wdCollapseEnd
            Selection.Select
            SendKeys.Send (" ")
        Else
            Selection.TypeText AutoCorrect.Entries(YouACName).Value
        End If

    Hope it helps
