  • Do you work for Panasonic? if not, then you need to report this to Panasonic.

The exception is coming from H264MvcDecoder.DLL, not .Net Framework.

  • I do not work for Panasonic.

I reported this to them earlier today

They said it was a .NET proble, something was missing, a directory as above

thanks for the direction i will go back to them and hope it moves forward

  • Hi there,

My apologies for emailing you out of the blue, but I need to ask you a question

I am having the very same issue with the PHOTOfunSTUDIO.exe.

I have an older (2014, I think) version of H264MvcDecoder.DLL.

Please, can you tell me where you got the later version of this DLL to fix your problem?

I cannot find a recent version of the file anywhere on the Internet.

    Thank you, and apologies again!!

  • Check the copyright notice in the Panasonic application. If the DLL is open source (most companies don't write their own media decoder) then you can probably find the author of the DLL and recompile the DLL from code yourself. If you are lucky the author may even have a pre-built DLL for downloading.

However Panasonic may have their own fork of the code and in that case, the only way you can get a DLL that is supported by the Panasonic application would be from Panasonic.

Anyway you should ask in Panasonic support for this. We don't know how Panasonic wrote its software, and a lot of the above assumptions could be false e.g. the dll could be Panasonic 's own invention that just happened to have the same output file name with an open source project. In that case, most likely no DLL you can find on the internet would work.
