Saving as CSV question

I have a report with a blank column.  I have nothing defined for this column.  No field name or constant defined.  When I save as a csv file, I want a comma to appear for this field.  But presently, it does not do this by instead has the next field displaying.  I tried making the field value as ="," but then it literally displays it just like this with the double quotes.  I hope this makes sense.  So how can I force in a comma for a field with no value?

I figured out a way to do this.  I created a column in my SELECT statement like: NULL AS DurLab.  I then add DurLab to my report layout and when I save it as CSV, the comma now exists for this blank column.
