  • Question

  • Hi WPF and blender users, I've got a question. There's a way to use or create the artistic brushes (like aqua, airbrushes, etc.) from Expression Desing into Blend?? Or how can I create those effects in WPF? Thanks!!

  • Howdy,

The level of design capability in Blend is certainly not meant to be at the same as Expression Design in terms of stylistic implementation on strokes.

If you want that type of functionality, you would either need to find or create a Behavior that allowed you to work with Path elements as you are explaining, but you would still not get a drawing functionality that allowed you to create a crayon styled path (or Stroke as you refer to)

  • Howdy,

You can export your expression design out to a XAML file and then open it directly in Blend.. or you can copy from Design and Paste into Blend...

  • but in this case I don't have the possibility to extend this functionality to another strokes of diferent shapes. For example if I create a circle with custom brush like crayon this  stroke is ot available in blend to draw a rectangle.

I try to use the .sks files  but Idon't find documentation fou use it.
