Item Message Class for Skype Online Meeting

Question

Hi,

I have an add-in that currently operates on the TabAppointment of the Ribbon.

I would like for it to only be run when the Appointment is of type Skype Online Meeting and hide my add-in when it is not.

Is there a way to hook into a global button events list so that I can detect what type of button is being clicked and determine it that way?

Hi Gerggomate,

Skype Online Meeting is provided by Skype Meeting Addin for Microsoft. It is still appointment and  add-in recognizes both Appointment and Skype Online Meeting as AppointmentItem so it will load same ribbon for them. As a workaround, you could check if the item body has the skype meeting invitation links. You could set the add-in tab enable/disable or visible/invisible according the checking result.
