Set ALARM in IC file

Question

 

How does one set  the ALARM in a calendar  file [.ics] I  have tried:

BEGIN:VCALENDAR
VERSION:1.0
BEGIN:VEVENT
DTSTART:20120824T130000Z
DTEND:20120824T131500Z
LOCATION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:My Bank
DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:Pricing Lock Expiring for loan #: ABCD
SUMMARY;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:Loan #: ABCD Expiration Date: 8/23/2012
BEGIN:VALARM
TRIGGER:-PT60M
ACTION:DISPLAY
DESCRIPTION:Reminder
END:VALARM
END:VEVENT
END:VCALENDAR

But  the Alarn is never set when I  open the file with Outlook 2003 or  2010. What  have I  missed?

VERSION header needs to be "2.0" or "3.0".

I don't think VCALENDAR 1.0 supports VALARM
