Crystal Report Export To PDF Error : Operation not yet implemented RRS feed

    Hi,

We are facing an issue while exporting Crystal Reports to PDF in Windows 2003 R2 Server. The Error Message is : Operation not yet implemented.

We have gone through the following different solutions available inthe internet:
    1. Provide permission for Network Service and Aspnet users to the Temp folders and other required folders.
    2. Register Export related dlls ( ExportModeller.dll, CrtSlv.dll, atl.dll, etc. )
    3. Verify the Font availability in the System. (We are using Microsoft Sans Serif and Arial only in our crystal reports)
    4. Provided full trust in the config file.
    5. Setup a client server application to generate the same report and it is working.

The problem seems to be with some permission or policies for web applications. The knowledge base articles from BO (Business Objects) are also not available on the internet after BO were absorbed by SAP.

Please see the error screenshot below.

    Error in File C:\windows\Temp\REportVendor {9F0FC3C9-35B5-432A-A96B-306417EC5E38}.rpt:

Hello! I'm having the same problem (I'm using a non system font in the report) but I have the font installed in the system. I managed to use it in wordpad and such. What could be the issue in my case? Thanks in advance. Regards.

Crytal report must defined by common fonts supported by the system and if your remove the custom font from your crystal report it works.

Thanks for your answer. Yes it does, but what if I want to use the custom font? The client specifically asked for it...

I had the same problem... this solution worked for me... http://www.codeguru.com/forum/showthread.php?t=366505

    ------
the solution for this is, u have to install a new servicepack which is available at
    ftp://ftp1.businessobjects.com/outgo...et11win_en.zip

after installing this servicepack just restart ur system, ur application wil works fine without changing any font or anything else.

this is the link for the new merge modules

I had the same issue. I am using crystal report 2010 that ship with visual studio 2010.

After a lot of head scatching I found out the issue was caused by division by zero in one of my formula

Try to used only common fonts Times new roman or Arial otherwise it will gives you the error

if you using same font and still you getting the same error then there are following possibilities

Web Server have Windows Server 2012 or Server 2008 SP 5 operating system then replace Times New Roman fonts

If you are running Windows 8.1, Microsoft updated the Time New Roman font, and it is no longer compatible with Crystal Reports

I've got same issue recently. The source of the problem was in latest windows updates (Win 2008). I've found that standart FONTS (Arial, Times New Roman, etc.) was updated. So i copied older versions of these fonts from my windows 7 machine and installed it over on windows 2008. After that PDF export start working again.
