Frame rate of long exposure infrared RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi, I just saw the long exposure infrared frame source type. I am wondering what is the frame rate of this frame source? Is it still 30 Hz? Also is it more accurate and precise than normal infrared? Thank you.

  • It is also 30Hz like the normal IR source.

In practice I've only seen very very slight differences between the normal and long exposure sources actually.

  • Hi Brekel, what do you mean by slight differences? Can you please describe it? Is long exposure a bit more accurate than normal one? Thank you.

  • Well you can try it with the trial version of one of my v2 apps for example: http://brekel.com/brekel-pro-body-v2

When switching between IR and Long Exposure IR you can see some intensity values change but it's not a big difference at all. Furthermore it's hard to see/measure how much change there is with motionblur due to the different exposure lengths.
