dropdown click event RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello, I am investigating an error message in an excel spreadsheet - .xlsx I have been given.
The error messages are shown when a drop down item is selected.
    Question:
How do I get to the click event of the drop down control so that I can see if there is a code/macro...?

    Thank you

  • Hello arkiboys,

You could right click the control and select Assign Macro. If the macro name is not a default name or same with one of the macro list in the listbox, the control should be assigned a macro.

Besides, you could try to use code to get the control shape and then check its OnAction property. If the control is not assigned a macro, the property is a empty string.

    Best Regards,

    Terry
