  • Ok, so not a watermark, but a custom label on the map. There are several ways to do this, the simplest is to add a pushpin that has a transparent color and a title or text property. The map control uses label collision detection and will hide or move map labels if a pushpin overlaps it so as to keep the map from being cluttered. The title value of a pushpin is also used in collision detection and will hide or move if overlapped by other data on the map which would mean it would work just like other labels on the map. The text value of a pushpin doesn't use label collision detection and will always be visible. I've put together a code sample, it originally was simple but got longer as I added more features. • Can you provide more details. You can overlay just about anything on top of the map.

    • Do you want the watermark to be over every single map tile?
    • One big watermark over the whole map and not move?
