MS SQL 2005 PROFILER IS NOT WORKING WITH ERROR ::: profiler90.exe - Application Error : The application failed to initialize properly (0xc000007b). Click on OK to terminate the application

Question

I am Using Sql Server 2005 Sp3 Standard Edition. After Installing SQL SERVER, I Tried to Start Profiler, it was failing, by Showing the Following Error!

Application Error : The application failed to initialize properly (0xc000007b). Click on OK to terminate the application

I felt it was an Issue with .Net Frame work & I updated .Net Frame Work 2.0 to 3.1, But it did n't worked out! I Tried by repairing the .net Framework & Re-installing Tools! But It did n't help! Please help me in Solving this Issue!!!

This is likely a damaged or missing DLL or some other settings from the SQL Server installation.  I would suggest trying to repair your SQL Server 2005 installation.

Hi Saiteja,

Did you have some changes in your computer before you get this error? For example, install some antivirus software? If you have, you can refer:

If you have no changes, suggest you repairing your SQL Server.
