Remove grayed out areas in Excel spreadsheet? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have an Excel spreadsheet with three gray spaces, approximately 6 rows in 3 separate columns. They remain at the top

    of the page, I am unable to remove and do not know what they are?  How can I remove them?

  • No idea what they are likely to be but try selecting all of the data in the worksheet and then Copy and Paste to a new worksheet and see what occurs.

  • Range("H1:J6").Select
        With Selection.Interior
            .Pattern = xlSolid
            .PatternColorIndex = xlAutomatic
            .ThemeColor = xlThemeColorDark1
            .TintAndShade = 0
            .PatternTintAndShade = 0
        End With

    H to J are the columns

    1 to 6 is row.

    3 separate columns you can do it for 3 times.
