Backup / restore / reset virtualpc xpmode in Win7 pro

Question

I have a fresh copy of xpmode installed and have added over 100 updates.

Is it sufficent to copy all the files in the XP mode directory to create a clean backup and to copy them back to complete a restore/reset to the (present) initial state?
