OpenGL XAML Render Plugin Color issue RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All,

When I use DropShadowEffect of Silverlight, the color of the object applied DropShadowEffect changes.<o:p></o:p>

We set RED,GREEN and BLUE using DropShadowEffect in Silverlight application.<o:p></o:p>

We should get the shadow as RED ,GREEN and BLUE.But We are getting BLUE,GREEN an RED.<o:p></o:p>

    Note:<o:p></o:p>

We have selected the OpenGL XAML Render Plugin in Catalog(BSP_XRPLUGIN_OPENGL) item,We were getting the above issue.

what is the different OpenGL XAML and DDRAM XAML?<o:p></o:p>

Why are we getting this issue?<o:p></o:p>

    Thanks

    With Regards

  • Problem with the color sequence is related to xaml effect rendering plugin (WINCE700\public\common\oak\XamlEffects). Check with the GPU documentation what color sequence you can use. The code provided is just an example and should be modified/tuned to your GPU for better performance.

  • What BSP you are using? OpenGL XAML will use the processor GPU, which will improve your performance of the graphics operations than the DDRAW, GDI options.

Check your BSP GPU source code for this issue.
