Hi Everyone, my first post on these forums, please be gentle with me :-)
Whilst trying to diagnose a Sharepoint / Forefront ID Manager 2010 installation situation, I enabled the IIS Configuration / Admin event log. Immediately I was getting a number of warning Events (ID number 12) relating to sections in configuration files
that do not match to a particular schema.
An example is as follows

Unable to find schema for config section 'system.serviceModel/serviceHostingEnvironment'. This section will be ignored
Now this seems to happen even on a default installation of Win2K8R2 and the only thing I can think of is that there is an updated schema that my machine does not have access to (not connected to Web) or contained in an update I have not yet applied.
Does anyone have any ideas if this is just me or something more widespread. .NET has not been configured especially by me, although FIM or SPS may have. The date/time for the config file looks default.
Thanks in advance
Alex
