How to change scroll bar style (make it tiny) Javascript

    Question

  • I have a vertical scrollbar in one of the blocks within a page. It works fine to me, but its design changes from time to time. Sometimes it is a tiny line like on mobile OS lists, and sometimes it is a fat semi-opaque line with arrows at the top and bottom. Can I somehow set it to be like in the #1 case always? How can I control this parameter from Javascript?

  • Hi,

    Maybe you should set some property absolute.

    And you could dynamicly change the style as follow:

    document.getElementById("greetingOutput").style.backgroundColor = "red";
