Visual Studio Code on Fedora 25, Extensions Marketplace not showing

    Question

  • I installed Visual Studio Code on Fedora 25 using the method described in:

    https://code.visualstudio.com/docs/setup/linux#_rhel-fedora-and-centos-based-distributions

    After installing I tried adding some extensions but I cannot view the Extensions Marketplace, I only get the message:
    `No extensions found.`

    I've checked the file product.json (located at /user/share/code/resources/app/ on my Fedora installation) and it seems to have the correct marketplace URL:
    ```
    "extensionsGallery": {
        "serviceUrl": "https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/_apis/public/gallery",
        ....
        ....
    }
    ```

    Please assist me on getting the Extensions Marketplace to appear on my Visual Studio Code install.
