How to load “Project Server” project with Microsoft.Office.Interop.MSProject in C# RRS feed

  • Question

  • How can I programmatically tell MS Project to load a Project Server project using Microsoft.Office.Interop.MSProject in .NET C#?

    Can I use Microsoft.Office.Interop.MSProject.Application.FileOpenEx?

I've seen documentation that says the "Name" parameter can use a syntax like this "<>\MyProjectName". And like this: "<ODBCDataSourceName>\MyProjectName".

Are ODBC data sources really used to access Project Server and PWA?

Can you provide any more information? Such as...

        - How do I create an ODBC data source to point to PWA?
        - Are there any newer connectivity technologies than ODBC, when using Office.Interop?
        - Do you have any examples?
