Navigation Form button disabled in MS Office Access 365 Personal RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have MS Office  365 Personal on a PC.  In Access while using the Create Option the "Form Wizard" and "More Forms" options are active however the "Navigation" Option has been disabled. Is this feature not available in this version of Access or is there some setting that needs to be done?

  • Hi Edward

Followed your instructions and got the following version info.

    Subscription Microsoft Office 365.

    Microsoft Office  2016 MSO (16.0.7030.1016) 32-Bit.

I am guessing that  for, some reason, this feature  has been disabled in this version and so my only option is to create my own Navigation Form.

    thanks and regards

Do you mean there are Form Wizard and More Forms except Navigation in Create Tab? Navigation Form is available in Access. Is your Access 2013 or Access 2016? I suggest you Customize Ribbon->Reset all customizations to check whether it will work. If not, I suggest you repair your Access.

    Best Regards,

    Edward

  • Thank you Edward for your response.

    I have Office 365 Personal.

I tried reinstalling Office 365... but still the problem persists.  Either there is a bug in the program or this feature has been disabled in Office 365 Personal

I have enclosed an image of the ribbon for your reference

  • Hi Chesds,

I know you have Office 365 Personal, I suggest you check File->Account->Office version, and share us your Office version. Since I only have Office 365 ProPlus which works correctly, I suggest you install Office 365 Personal in other computers, or ask whether others who have Office 365 Persona to check whether this function is available.

In my option, there is no any setting could disable this button, if you want to create navigation Form, I would suggest you design your Form manually if there is no such Navigation Form option.

    Best Regards,

    Edward
