BizTalk Tracing on Development and higher servers RRS feed

  • Question

  • Just like BizTalk CAT Framework where we just add reference in BizTalk Orch and can be used for tracing or debugging .

Is there any other better tool which can be available and can be used for tracing (instead of going with BAM, SCOM, BizTalk 360) ?

  • Between those 4 tools, you've pretty much listed all of the premier solutions for BizTalk insights.

Keep in mind, each is for a different purpose and is best used in it's particular scenario.

So, no, there is no better tool because those are the best tools for their respective jobs.

  • I wanted mainly for My Orch tracing which has Maps and some WCF calls.

My client doesn't want to use BizTalk 360 as its on higher budget, and BAM  is custom code related.

So which is minimal auto component to use without much Developers effort ?

  • If it's tracing you want, then it's CAT Fx.  The other tools are for different, though frequently complimentary purposes.

  • AIMS provides a free version of our performance monitoring tool, it can trace individual messages and their patterns with zero bam or tracking enabled. Agent installs in 5 minutes.

The free version supports up to 2 BizTalk servers (same group), you can sign up for access here

    Thanks,
