Create a web service to create a project in Project Server RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I would like to create a Project in Project Server 2010 using a web service. I need to use this service from CRM to create a Project. Is this right way of doing of it? Are there any examples online?  Thank you.

  • Yes that's the right way, you need to build an adapter to pull data from CRM using CRM API's and passing the CRM data to Project Server PSI (API) for creating project, however you might want to check what data and how to use it, rest the best place to look for would be Project Server 2010 SDK,

    Download here : http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=46007f25-b44e-4aa6-80ff-9c0e75835ad9&displaylang=en

SDK contains all documented API's for Project Server with methods explained and examples too

    Hope this helps
