How to customize/rename the name of class TableAdapterManager? RRS feed

  • Question

  • When a dataset is created in visual studio 2010 with "Hierarchical Update" set to true, class TableAdapterManager is created as a partial class in Dataset.Designer.cs, and it will be showed in the ToolBox panel as a control for dragging to a form.

However, I have found that the class name of TableAdapterManager is defined internally by the Dataset Designer, and didn't find a way to customize/rename it.

This causes an awkward situation: when there is a mutiple of datasets, there will be a number of controls named TableAdtapterManager listed in the ToolBox, and it makes it very difficulty to choose the right one.

Is there a way to overome this or is there a workaround?
