Need reference data input RRS feed

  • Hello,

The sample data is stored temporarily and is available while you have the query window open. If you close the query window, the sample data is discarded, and you'll have to create a new set of sample data.

Make sure you have configure and started the event generator application in the backend.

As an alternative, you can get a .json file that has sample data in it from GitHub, and then upload that .json file to use as sample data for the CallStream input.

Hope this helps. Do let us know if you any further queries.

  • No actually  i was talking about the csv file that is being used as a reference data for stream analytics input so that i can later use it in Data Factory to process the reference data.

If you can provide, it will be great thanks!

  • Hello,

Unfortunately, we don't have any sample reference data as (customertable.csv) for Stream Analytics input.

As mentioned in the document, the customerInfo table is maintained in an Azure SQL database and can be updated multiple times during the day as new customers are added, contact information is changed etc.

You can create a data factory pipeline with copy activity which copies latest version of customertable from Azure SQL to blob in the corresponding path based on date & time information. The Azure stream analytics jobs is configured to take customertable as reference data input and always picks up the latest copy of the reference data as it becomes available.
