BizTalk POP3 attachments Microsoft Exchange server 2007 vs 2010 RRS feed

  • Hi

I’m encountering some problems with the POP3 adapter in BizTalk 2010 CU6 regarding attachment names.

We’ve switched one environment from Exchange server 2007 to version 2010 and it seems to be the POP3 adapter behaves different on attachment names.

    Exchange 2007

Below the Below we can see 2 attachments: orders_87147450000… and a file ordersviafileserge.txt. The guid string represents the message body.

    Exchange 2010

Here, we can see that BizTalk completely ignores the attachment names. I’ve send exactly the same text file to BizTalk. (ordersviafileserge.txt)

My conclusion is that the POP3 adapter behaves different on Exchange server 2007 and 2010.
Is there a way to solve this? Could this be a setting in Exchange server?

Kind regards and thanks in advance
