  • What does (UInt32Value)4U do in the following cell definition code from the OpenXML Productivity Tool? I'm not familiar with this syntax. Can I just write StyleIndex = 4?

    Cell cell15 = new Cell(){ CellReference = "E4", StyleIndex = (UInt32Value)4U, DataType = CellValues.SharedString };

  • Hi Rspiet,

    Thank you for posting in the MSDN Forum.

    As far as I'm concerned you cannot just write StyleIndex = 4, If you don't use the suffix in the previous declaration, you will get a compilation error.

    You can take a look into uint.

    Hope it helps.
