    Just wonder why the web.config transformations are not applied when the project is being deployed using Web Setup project.

     

    It appears to work only when publishing / building deployment package.

    Any ideas?

    Hi,

    As far as I know, there is not a built-in feature to use web.config transformation in web setup project.

    You should manually write a XMLTransfer in AfterBuild action.
