Is it possible to lock a Content Control after binding? RRS feed

  • In VSTO applications, it is possible to lock a content control as seen here.

    Does Office API (js) have same functionality? I can't find it in reference docs.

    What I need to do, is to lock content control for editing after I set data.

    No. Office API doesn't provide such function.

    The office add-ins is different with Office object model. You can refer to link below about usage of Office add-ins:

    What can an Office Add-in do?

    If you want to automate the Office application via Office object model, you may consider develop an VSTO add-in instead of Office add-ins.
