unable to get property 'getcurrentposition' of undefined or null reference RRS feed

  • Question

  • In a Windows Store app I use WebView to view a website.

When trying to get the current location, it says :

" unable to get property 'getCurrentPosition' of undefined or null reference ".

It works well on Windows Phone Browser and on IE, but not inside a WebView on Windows Store app.

    Any workaround ?

  • Hi Houssem - what's the exact line of code that is throwing this error? Also, WebView isn't a direct port of IE, so there definitely are differences and we may have to work around them.

NOTE: If I ask for code, please provide something that I can drop directly into a project and run (including XAML), or an actual application project. I'm trying to help a lot of people, so I don't have time to figure out weird snippets with undefined objects and unknown namespaces.
