Error When Create a WebPart RRS feed

  • Hello ,

     - I have create w New Project (Type : SharePoint ......WebPart ) .

     - I change the Inheritance from  WebPart to  ContentByQueryWebPart .

    - I write my Code , The I build my Solution and it is Sucessfully .

    - When I deploy The solution ( RightClick.....Deploy) . the following Error appeared :

        Error 1 VSeWSS Service Error: Assembly C:\Documents and Settings\iaboraya\My Documents\Visual Studio 2008\Projects\WebPart1\WebPart1\bin\Debug\WebPart1.dll not found. This may occur because the VSeWSS WCF Service does not have local administrator permissions. Please review the release notes.

    VSeWSS Service Logging Error: Access to the path 'C:\Documents and Settings\Default User\Application Data\Microsoft\VSeWSS 1.3' is denied.

    Logging failed attempting to write to C:\Documents and Settings\Default User\Application Data\Microsoft\VSeWSS 1.3\VSeWSS1.3 service.log. This may occur because the VSeWSS WCF Service does not have local administrator permissions. Please review the release notes. 


    how Can I solve this problem ?

  • This might be caused by the incorrect WSP file.

    You need to force VS to recreate the entries.

    1. Copy your code (backup)
    2. Delete your web part folder and create a new web part.
    3. Copy your code back to the new web part
    4. Build the solution and deploy.

    This should address your problem.

  • Try running Visual Studio with Administrator permissions.

     I have entered  the PC by  my account which is the Administrator on PC .

  • Hi Himo,

    Make sure that VseWSS service app pool account has below permissions
    Administrators, WSS_ADMIN_WPG, WSS_RESTRICTED_WPG.
