Hello friends, I have set up my application under rainbow portal application. I am trying to remove the http modules(rewrite.net,rewriteRules) from the configuration settings of my application which is under rainbow portal application. for that I used <httpModules> <clear /> </httpModules> in <system.web> node of my web.config. But still on accessing the site I am getting the error that File or assembly name Rewrite.NET, or one of its dependencies, was not found. Can anyone help me on this problem? any help will be greatly appriciated. Thanks, Sidh.

If you do not have the assemblies in the GAC then you need to copy them into the \bin folder for the clear or remove to work (crazy I know!)
