  • Question

  • I am trying to send locally created request to another driver using asynchronous method and it works fine but when i called driver disable then queue callback function is calling automatically without completing the request from target device.

    below is sequence

    1. create thread from driver

    2. in thread create and send request after attaching callback function

    3. In normal case it works fine ( on targer driver request complete, my callback function is calling )

    4. but on driver disable callback function is calling without completing the request from target, please help me how to resolve this issue

  • When you say driver disable, I assume you mean you are disabling the device?  You are using WdfRequestSetCompletionRoutine and the problem is that your completion is called when the request is not completed?  If so how do you know it is not completed, what is the status of the request?
