Want to make my User folder private from other users RRS feed

  • Question

  • hello, i was hoping someone could help me with making my user file private from other users.  the user account for myself is "Tom", which is an admin account.  the other user account i have set up is labeled "Home", which is a standard user account.  i wanted to make my entire user folder (c: < Users < Tom) private so if someone is using my computer under the "Home" profile, they will not be able to access my folder.  i have alot of my personal info on there that i want to keep secure.  any help will be appreciated, thanks.

  • Reading another users files requires Administrator rights, so as long as your account has a secure password which only you know it won't be possible to read your profile folder.
