OpenXML license question

Question
-
Hi,
I'm using ClosedXML to generate spreadsheets. I've been successful in using and testing it without Microsoft Office.
However, a colleague of mine said that I need an office license to use it in production.
My question is if I need an office license on the production server to use this lib.

Hi Klismann,
>>Can I use ClosedXML or OpenXML to generate XLSX files without an office license?
For this, there is no need to worry about Office license, you could generate xlsx files without Office license.

Tony

Hi,
ClosedXML has an MIT license, so no problem. My question is more related to Microsoft Office license. Can I use ClosedXML or OpenXML to generate XLSX files without an office license?
