    Hi guys and gals,

     Currently trying to create a basic MI system in Access and have the following problem:

    I need to automatically populate a table with figures based on another figure entered by the user, following a simple expression/formula. Now I can get it to do this on the form but it doesn't populate the table. Any ideas? I tried to enter the following into the form field Control Source but it didn't work; =[Boxes of paper]=([Reams of paper]/5) hopefully you understand what I'm trying to acheive. I'm not sure if I can put the expression in the table itself, have tried this and can't seem to get it to work. Any ideas?

    You can apply the value in code-behind in the DataSource control's Inserting or Updating event.
