Why won't a command button show up on my continuous form? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a subform that is set as a continuous form.  When I place a command button as a column on the form it does not show up at run time.  Also, if I put column headers in the form header, it still displays the labels from the source query.

Could it be that your subform is being displayed in datasheet view, rather than in form view?

  • On your second point: that is because the labels are not connected to the textboxes. Cut a label to the clipboard, select the corresponding textbox, and paste. Now the two are related and the header would show correctly.
