wpf theme reuse for silverlight and html RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I have a wpf theme. Can I use the same theme in my silverlight app and what changes need to do to achieve it?

Also, can I use/apply same wpf theme to my html pages and how can I achieve this?

  • Hi,

I have application which has few html pages along with silverlight. I need a html theme for html pages and silverlight theme for silverlight pages that I can use directly into my application without too much work for styling/designing the pages.

    1. Is it possible and how to do it?

    2. Please suggest html and silverlight themes.

  • There are differences between wpf and Silverlight xaml so you can't just take xaml from either and use it in the other.

It will probably work in parts.

Depending on how complicated this theme is, you might find it quite a bit of work to use in a Silverlight app.

The specific changes depend on what your theme does exactly.

You will likely find it more practical just to pick a theme intended for Silverlight.

XAML styling is totally different from CSS and no you cannot use a xaml based theme on HTML.

    Hope that helps.
