  • Hi,

There is a lot of possible causes to this error so from first level please make sure that you have the solution in debug mode, complied again, you are not trying to set a breakpoint to a place that doesn't compile to any actual code e.g. on a variable declaration or just white space. Show the exact line of code where you can't set the breakpoint.

Second thing you can check is by deleting the debug and object folder and complied the code again and try also execute the command using system admin stsadm –o execadmsvcjobs and try with either services tool or open command line - net stop sptimerv4 then net start sptimerv4). Then attach to OWSTIMER and debug.

  • Hi,

    Any update?

Please try to restart the timer service and visual studio 2012 to check if it works.
