VS2013 always rebuild the whole project even only two files are edited

    Question

  • I'm using VS 2013 to develop a project with 50+ header files and 50+ cpp files. No matter in Debug mode or in Release mode, when I edit just 2 or three files, the VS complier always build the whole project rather than the files I changed.

Thus, every build cost me over 40 minutes.

Is there any way to force VS just rebuild the part I have changed and keep others remained?

P.S. The project is a Qt project, I don't know if this would affect.
