Can't add MFC Smart Device DLL project reference to an C# Smart Device Class Library project RRS feed

  • I have one C# Smart Device Class Library project and one C++ MFC Smart Device DLL project on the same solution.
    But i can't add C++ project reference to the C# project.

    When i try i got the message "A reference to <c++ project name> could not be added."

    I use Visual Studio 2008.

    Any help?

    That is correct, you cannot.  It is not supported.

    The level of interaction you can have with native DLLs from C# is pretty much limited to P/Invoking functions exposed by the DLL.

  • yes i have done C#smart device application using MFC smart device DLL.

    Create DLL in MFC smart device DLL.
    In C# application use pInvoke method for that dll.
