How to remove route configuration from webform application?

I've use route configuration in my web form project. But now I want to remove it and go back to the .aspx form. How I can do that? I've remove the route method from the "Application_Start" method but it's not working. 

Can anyone help me please.

Hi,

If you are talking about accessing /page.aspx by using just /page it could be related to https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/tmarq/2010/05/26/how-extensionless-urls-are-handled-by-asp-net-v4/.

How do you see it is still in use ? Ah my first move would be to create a test page that would show the route table to see what remains here (and if nothing remains it would point to some other feature).

According to your description. I make a demo and remove the MapPageRoute in Application_start(). While it works.

As far as  I know, we could Configure routing through IIS Rewriter component.

Please check your IIS settings about Url Rewrite.
