100% Managed Provider from Microsoft RRS feed

  • Does Microsoft have any 100% managed ADO.Net driver for MS-SQL ?

    DataDirect has indicated that Microsoft does not have any.
    At this point in time we do not want to use DataDirect do to issues with
    there drivers. There for we are and have switch to the MS-SQL drivers.

  • SQL Server driver questions should be posted in SQL Server Data Access forum. There is an FAQ there which lists all the drivers supported by the database engine.
