USB-IF Certification Validation Test - "TEST ID" for generic usb hub RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

we start in HCK Studio the “USB-IF Certification Validation Test” and have one question.

We chose the option “USB-IF self-testing”, but why is a TEST ID for target “gerneric usb hub” required and for targets “smartcard reader” or “ keyboard” not required?

Our tested USB Hub is a embedded USB Hub without exposed ports and not removable in a keyboard device.

    HCK Error Message:

NO Test ID Specified. Hub Test Requires Test ID

  • Hi Marco,

I have also same issue..but if you want to run "USB-IF Certification Validation Test" have two options.

              1. Input require Test ID(If u give 111 as Test ID then passed but I don't know the reason.)

              2. Do USB-IF Self testing.(In this case you have to run some tests and that test logs files are copy path at C:/usblogs in WHCK Controller)

please refer the bellow link for more details..
