Can we customize the IE sites pinned to the Start Screen in WDP ?

    Question

  • When I pin a site to the start screen in WDP, and I have many, I have to hold the pointer long enough on the IE icon to read what the site is about. A few starting words appear on the tile with  IE icon which are not enough to get a clear idea of what the site is exactly about. Is there a way to customize the frequently visited sites besides the IE icon and the few words that appear below it ? For instance, can we rename it, describing in our words, what the site is about ?

  • Steven sinofsky in his 11th Oct post Reflecting on your comments on the Start screen suggested that more customization for users of WDP is in the offing, I thought there may already be a way to do it.
