    I have (2) services one needs compatibility mode and the other service is a polling duplex service and it lags when compatibility mode is enabled. So does anyone know how to enable compatibility mode on one service but not the other?

    I figured it out guys from what I found out it's not possible but there are work arounds for accessing the HTTPContext. Basically a used the Global.asax and pulled the context from there and then accessed the context via a shared property. I appreciate your time and effort.

    Thanks for the response but I have already read that thread and it didn't solve my problem. I asked this question in WCF forum already and they referred me to ASP.NET forums. Thanks

    <configuration>

    What does the sessionState have to do with this? Not to mention my website uses the session state.
