VB.net MS Project 2016 debug mode RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I am developing add-in on MS Project. I used VB.net 2013 with Office and Project 2013. Recently I upgraded to Office and Project 2016. My problem is, during debugging, it says I cannot debug or run the VB project because the required ver of Office is not installed. Won't I be able to use 2016 fro debugging? or are there required configuration I have to do?

    Thanks,

    Gilbert

Yes, you could not debug with Office and Project 2016. In VB.net 2013, you only could create and debug project with Office and Project 2010 and 2013, if you want to use Office and Project 2016, you will need to upgrade your VS to VS 2015. Otherwise, you will need to install Project 2013.

    Best Regards,
