Modification Resolution RRS feed

  • Not sure where I should post this, but the issue is apparent in a client, so I guess Client fits.


    I've switched to EWS Managed API 1.1 from the good old "regular" EWS in an attempt to use ExtendedProperties in my Appointments (as there are some custom company specific flags I'm setting now for a custom website that can read them.)


    I create Appoinments through a custom web interface (which has always worked flawlessly) but now with the EWS Managed API 1.1, some quirks have surfaced.


    There is this weird side effect of sending me these "Modification Resolution" mails after the Appointment is succesfully created. Is there a way to tell Exchange to just accept these changes, as these mails make it look like something went wrong, while I added those properties knowingly.


    Without the ExtendedProperties active (commented), I don't get these Modification Resolution mails when I create Appointments through EWS Managed API 1.1. Is there anything I can do to make Outlook accept them? Or is this caused by something else?


    I read somewhere a registry snippet could stop the warnings, but I see that more as a hack, and it doesn't seem to be 100% effective.
